An unexpectedly hard shot by Liam Appleton in the 8th minute of play forced ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's goalkeeper Nicasio Benino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Jay Flack in the 11th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Guaberto Feliu. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Federico Laurentzi in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tony Henwood prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Staffy Terrier FC's goalie and right to Federico Laurentzi. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Staffy Terrier FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Tony Henwood showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Laurentzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Ron Hicks kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Nicasio Benino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alastair Greenman in the 27th minute of play. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Nicasio Benino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liam Appleton in the 29th minute of play. Tony Henwood showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elpidio Gai, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. A collision led to ARedonditos de Ricota CFK getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Gervasio Rik hit a great ball. A collision led to Staffy Terrier FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Jay Flack hit a great ball. In the 46th minute Elpidio Gai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Henwood saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Liam Appleton made a kick off. Grant Black came free with the goalkeeper in the 51st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nicasio Benino could save by the left post. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK made a substitution. Alejandro Baristo replaced Federico Laurentzi. Staffy Terrier FC made a substitution. Ryan Skinner replaced Jay Flack. In the 64th minute, Alejandro Baristo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ARedonditos de Ricota CFK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Tony Henwood took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejandro Baristo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Nicasio Benino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save ARedonditos de Ricota CFK from getting a goal against them. Ryan Skinner's late challenge caught a ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
