After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, David Evis managed to get in a good position for a shot. LA DEL MONO's supporters rose to their feet, but David Evis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Waldir Araújo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vicente Alves made in the 20th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by LA DEL MONO's Dinei Lendaa. Orlando de Brito kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 24th minute David Evis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldir Araújo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If David Evis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 29 minutes into the match, ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's goal looked a bit too open when David Evis came free, but Waldir Araújo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Waldir Araújo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from David Evis went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. David Evis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Waldir Araújo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute of the match LA DEL MONO got a corner. ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. David Evis ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led LA DEL MONO's David Evis to fire away a dangerous shot which Waldir Araújo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When LA DEL MONO's Honorato Chap in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The LA DEL MONO fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when LA DEL MONO's Honorato Chap looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Jefferson Otto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Botello in the 60th minute of play forced ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's goalkeeper Waldir Araújo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LA DEL MONO made a substitution. Silverio Cidro replaced Honorato Chap. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind LA DEL MONO's goalkeeper Fabio Betadur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jefferson Otto in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Betadur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ booed when LA DEL MONO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Evis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jefferson Otto got free with Fabio Betadur in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. LA DEL MONO's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Anderson Sousa 78 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fahl Gattuso during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Fahl Gattuso hit a great ball. After 85 minutes of play, LA DEL MONO's Silverio Cidro made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Waldir Araújo was left in no man's land by his defense there! LA DEL MONO's Fabio Betadur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save LA DEL MONO from getting a goal against them. 92 minutes into the game, Dinei Lendaa threw the ball into play from the sideline. ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's Orlando de Brito quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Anderson Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Epifanio Polentzi fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LA DEL MONO's protests and gave Epifanio Polentzi a yellow card for diving instead. After 94 played minutes LA DEL MONO got a freekick which was hit by Epifanio Polentzi. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The LA DEL MONO fans cheered their team off the field, for while ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
