La Candela FC's Evelio Larra managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Nicko Gjerum in the 20 minute of the game. In the 43rd minute, Rudy Grammelstorf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Saul Flor was the one to do the kick off. Bo Lind kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Saul Flor hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 57th match minute, Vestegnens Betonhelte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bo Lind to maneuver through the defense. Handi Ball acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 58th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Amadeo Fliz. After a defensive mix-up in Vestegnens Betonhelte's zone, Saul Flor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Handi Ball came out of the goal and Saul Flor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saul Flor got free with Handi Ball in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, La Candela FC's Fulgencio Berto got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 69th match minute, La Candela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulgencio Berto to maneuver through the defense. Vestegnens Betonhelte's Handi Ball played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Flor in the 71st minute of play. Handi Ball took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulgencio Berto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute, Fulgencio Berto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fulgencio Berto during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jesus Arias's late challenge caught a Vestegnens Betonhelte's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jesus Arias helped the player get up and apologised. There was no doubt that Vestegnens Betonhelte were the better team. Vestegnens Betonhelte's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
