The referee showed Siro Lastur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Serbia y Mantonegro getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Siro Lastur hit a great ball. Wladyslaw Pietrasz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Higinio Rameriz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zbigniew Czarnecki. That made the score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Serbia y Mantonegro's Astor Cordarius got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Wiktor Domin, 23 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Antoni Nalaskowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Roberto Ciano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roberto Ciano was a little too slow when Benedykt Kossakowski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 2-2. With a little luck, Serbia y Mantonegro's Roberto Ciano got control of the ball when Remigiusz Golec tried to sneak it across the goal line. Miromir Niziolek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee felt a red card was in order, 96 minutes into the game, when Bartosz Biegun put in a rough tackle. The referee gave Serbia y Mantonegro a penalty, 99 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tomás Oinaz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Olympique Gdynia's Zbigniew Czarnecki. 4-2. The Serbia y Mantonegro players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
