If Estefan Gavilanes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Oakcroft Thrashers's zone, Martxelin Revenga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrian Sillén came out of the goal and Martxelin Revenga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 31 minutes, Estefan Gavilanes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nova Soccer's supporters crossed their fingers, but Estefan Gavilanes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rameriz Zubiaur was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tomas Klint showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 34 minute of play. Rameriz Zubiaur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Klint, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rameriz Zubiaur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Klint in the 40th minute of the match. With a little luck, Nova Soccer's Rameriz Zubiaur got control of the ball when Rune Alstedt tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 52 played minutes Oakcroft Thrashers got a freekick which was hit by Rune Alstedt. In the 67th match minute, Nova Soccer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonso Villalaud to maneuver through the defense. Rameriz Zubiaur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Klint in the 69th minute of play. Nova Soccer's Rameriz Zubiaur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Klint in the 72nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Klint in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rameriz Zubiaur saved Nova Soccer from getting behind. Rameriz Zubiaur came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Oakcroft Thrashers's Dan Wassenius. But to his dismay, Dan Wassenius quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After 80 played minutes Nova Soccer got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Gatell. In the 94th minute, Afonso Villalaud got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Oakcroft Thrashers fully deserved thier win.
