Narcis Bălace took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Namık Kemal Türkmen. Namık Kemal Türkmen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Namık Kemal Türkmen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugen Pânzariu, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. ＡＳＹＡ's Namık Kemal Türkmen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugen Pânzariu in the 8th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Niculae Perșa notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of ＡＳＹＡ's Namık Kemal Türkmen. Namık Kemal Türkmen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of RED BLUE STAR booed when ＡＳＹＡ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hakan Necaettin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 13 minutes of play, RED BLUE STAR's Niculae Perșa made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Namık Kemal Türkmen was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 17 minutes, Ferhan Revis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ＡＳＹＡ and the RED BLUE STAR players grew even worse after the yellow card. Niculae Perșa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Namık Kemal Türkmen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If George Roşulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Halim Atlıoğlu got free with Pompiliu Comarnescu in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to RED BLUE STAR getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Marcel Itu hit a great ball. Marcel Itu kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Doğan Sönmezalp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of RED BLUE STAR booed when ＡＳＹＡ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferhan Revis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute, Leonard Neagoe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 38 minutes, Călin Rareș mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RED BLUE STAR and the ＡＳＹＡ players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of RED BLUE STAR:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ＡＳＹＡ:s goal. When the match had been going on for 39 minutes, ＡＳＹＡ's Doğan Sönmezalp got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Pompiliu Comarnescu. Eugen Pânzariu's late challenge caught a ＡＳＹＡ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eugen Pânzariu helped the player get up and apologised. Eugen Pânzariu kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45th minute, George Roşulescu made a precise shot to the right of Namık Kemal Türkmen. ＡＳＹＡ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. After the first half RED BLUE STAR were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a rather tough play, RED BLUE STAR's Călin Rareș got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Eugen Pânzariu hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 65 minutes into the game, Niculae Perșa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Namık Kemal Türkmen. Niculae Perșa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. A collision led to RED BLUE STAR getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Niculae Perșa hit a great ball. Orkun Işıldar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Pompiliu Comarnescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eugen Pânzariu got free with Namık Kemal Türkmen in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eugen Pânzariu in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Namık Kemal Türkmen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Orkun Işıldar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Pompiliu Comarnescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The RED BLUE STAR players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
