The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Genzo Wakabayashi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Rafel in the 7th minute of the match. After 11 minutes, Silverio Gonzo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cascadia United and the Roronoa players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dario Gutierrez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Rami, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Cascadia United booed when Roronoa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacobo Irrintzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th match minute, Cascadia United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Kimetz to maneuver through the defense. The referee felt a red card was in order, 18 minutes into the game, when Filomeno Suero put in a rough tackle. 18 minutes into the game, one of Cascadia United:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Cascadia United:s Dario Gutierrez showed great skill when he stopped Freddy Senin:s penalty. After a rather tough play, Cascadia United's Joaquin Araoz got a free kick in the 21st minute. Cascadia United's Dario Gutierrez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Cascadia United from getting a goal against them. Genzo Wakabayashi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Rafel in the 37th minute of play. Cascadia United were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Roronoa's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Atilano Jerrald took the corner. The corner led Cascadia United's Atilano Jerrald to fire away a dangerous shot which Genzo Wakabayashi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Roronoa's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Rafel came free, but Genzo Wakabayashi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Clemente Rami was the one to do the kick off. If Aureliano Rafel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Cascadia United's Joaquin Araoz got a free kick in the 61st minute. Desiderio Perfecto's late challenge caught a Cascadia United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Desiderio Perfecto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th match minute, Roronoa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Desiderio Perfecto to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Roronoa getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Casimiro Osmundo hit a great ball. Joaquin Araoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genzo Wakabayashi having to interfere. Mateo Txema struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Dario Gutierrez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Roronoa. A collision led to Cascadia United getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Aureliano Rafel hit a great ball. Dario Gutierrez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Rami in the 82nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Clemente Rami managed to get in a good position for a shot. Roronoa's supporters rose to their feet, but Clemente Rami was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dario Gutierrez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roronoa were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Cascadia United to leave the ground with a draw.
