The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of Roronoa:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Jacuitiba - FSCMZ:s goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 15 minutes into the game, when Paulinho Pinho put in a rough tackle. In the 15th minute, one of Jacuitiba - FSCMZ:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Jacuitiba - FSCMZ. In the 17th minute there was a penalty for Roronoa. Freddy Senin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving José Carlos Velloso. 1-1. José Carlos Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernabe Bilintx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Mateo Txema had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the match, Roronoa's goalkeeper Genzo Wakabayashi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ademir Batista. Genzo Wakabayashi made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Armandinho Soares sent off a good shot on target. Genzo Wakabayashi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armandinho Soares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Walmyr Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Genzo Wakabayashi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Genzo Wakabayashi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Walmyr Torres went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice moves Ademir Batista could shoot a difficult shot in the 48th minute, which Genzo Wakabayashi however easily saved by the left post.

The wind increased when Ademir Batista made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ademir Batista in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Genzo Wakabayashi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ademir Batista in the 57th minute of play forced Roronoa's goalkeeper Genzo Wakabayashi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Genzo Wakabayashi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ademir Batista in the 59th minute of the match. Ademir Batista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genzo Wakabayashi having to interfere. Genzo Wakabayashi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armandinho Soares in the 63rd minute of play. Roronoa's Genzo Wakabayashi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ademir Batista in the 65th minute of play. A collision led to Roronoa getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Casimiro Osmundo hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mateo Txema got free with José Carlos Velloso in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 74 played minutes Roronoa got a freekick which was hit by Casimiro Osmundo. If Ademir Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Carlos Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacobo Irrintzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute, Ademir Batista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacobo Irrintzi got free with José Carlos Velloso in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Many of Roronoa's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Roronoa may have spent more time on the ball, but Jacuitiba - FSCMZ were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
