Spectators: 7504 (Terracing: 5629, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 149) Matias Gagriel started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd minute, Herminio Millrick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th minute, Ernesto Coelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Matias Gagriel managed to get in a good position for a shot. PI FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Matias Gagriel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bebeto Cardoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jesus Elorri received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bebeto Cardoso came out and tried to block the shot, but Jesus Elorri slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 11th minute. After a rather tough play, PI FC's Nestor Pereyra got a free kick in the 13th minute. 19 minutes into the match, PI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Coelho came free, but Bernabe Christobal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd match minute, PI FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benigno Orlin to maneuver through the defense. Bernabe Christobal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giovanni Corrêa in the 23rd minute of the match. Bernabe Christobal came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Haridades F.C's Giovanni Corrêa. But to his dismay, Giovanni Corrêa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 31 minutes into the game, Matias Gagriel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Bebeto Cardoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee felt a red card was in order, 35 minutes into the game, when Ronaldão Teles put in a rough tackle. After 36 played minutes Haridades F.C got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldão Teles. Bernabe Christobal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerson Sarmento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romeu Sanches fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernabe Christobal having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in PI FC's zone, Gerson Sarmento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernabe Christobal came out of the goal and Gerson Sarmento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Romeu Sanches had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerson Sarmento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Romeu Sanches was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Haridades F.C booed when PI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venancio Bartoli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Conrado de Carvalho hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Bebeto Cardoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matias Gagriel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernabe Christobal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerson Sarmento in the 69th minute. Bebeto Cardoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Pereyra in the 71st minute of the match. In the 72nd match minute, PI FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Elorri to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Giovanni Corrêa from long distance, 73 minutes into the match, got Bernabe Christobal's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Bernabe Christobal made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Ernesto Coelho sent off a good shot on target. When Gerson Sarmento came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Haridades F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerson Sarmento couldn't finish the play. In the 79th minute, Ernesto Coelho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Romeu Sanches could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Bernabe Christobal made a huge save. Nunez Oliviero hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Romeu Sanches recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. PI FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Haridades F.C for much of the match.
