Angelo Rezende started the match with the kick off. The audience was convinced that Felix Enol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Egídio Sampaio was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Zacarias Lucila was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cristian Boniel kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Canarinho Atordoado's Evaristo Favoretto tried to score from far away in the 15th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Raphael Favoretto's late challenge caught a Garrapatita Futbol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raphael Favoretto helped the player get up and apologised. Raphael Favoretto kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Nereo Cai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Egídio Sampaio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 25 played minutes Canarinho Atordoado got a freekick which was hit by Fábio Porto. The supporters of Garrapatita Futbol booed when Canarinho Atordoado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Gabriel Luz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Egídio Sampaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nereo Cai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the game, Garrapatita Futbol's Nereo Cai nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Egídio Sampaio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. A collision led to Canarinho Atordoado getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Angelo Rezende hit a great ball. In the 46th minute of the match Jonathan Natal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Egídio Sampaio skillfully saved the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 51st minute Angelo Rezende shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Lucila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd match minute, Canarinho Atordoado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Rezende to maneuver through the defense. Elói Azevedo hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the match, Garrapatita Futbol's Jonathan Natal broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Garrapatita Futbol's Nereo Cai slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Egídio Sampaio. That made the score 2-2 after 64 minutes of play. 67 minutes into the match, Jonathan Natal notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Canarinho Atordoado's Egídio Sampaio. Egídio Sampaio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 70th minute, Walmir Tróia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Canarinho Atordoado fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Régis Abraão kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmir Tróia in the 79th minute of play forced Garrapatita Futbol's goalkeeper Zacarias Lucila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Fábio Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th match minute, Canarinho Atordoado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Rezende to maneuver through the defense. After 89 minutes, Herminio Paublo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Garrapatita Futbol and the Canarinho Atordoado players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Garrapatita Futbol's Herminio Paublo got a free kick in the 89th minute. After some careless play in the Garrapatita Futbol defense, Angelo Rezende kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zacarias Lucila. The Garrapatita Futbol fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zacarias Lucila should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmir Tróia in the 96th minute of play forced Garrapatita Futbol's goalkeeper Zacarias Lucila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Canarinho Atordoado's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
