Spectators: 7477 (Terracing: 5609, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mario Ariando took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute of the match DeportivoIndependienteMDP got a corner. Canarinho Atordoado's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marciano Sarracino ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteve Gasteiz in the 11th minute of play forced Canarinho Atordoado's goalkeeper Egídio Sampaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Baltasar Roldan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save DeportivoIndependienteMDP from getting a goal against them. Egídio Sampaio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcelino Roland went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Mario Ariando managed to get in a good position for a shot. DeportivoIndependienteMDP's supporters rose to their feet, but Mario Ariando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egídio Sampaio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 28 minutes into the game, Evaristo Favoretto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Canarinho Atordoado's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DeportivoIndependienteMDP the free kick. Baltasar Roldan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walmir Tróia in the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmir Tróia in the 36th minute of play forced DeportivoIndependienteMDP's goalkeeper Baltasar Roldan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the game, DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Mario Ariando nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Egídio Sampaio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Walmir Tróia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baltasar Roldan was a little too slow when Walmir Tróia got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 1-3. The Canarinho Atordoado players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. DeportivoIndependienteMDP were winning 1-3.

Baltasar Roldan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmir Tróia in the 54th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Walmir Tróia in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baltasar Roldan saved DeportivoIndependienteMDP from getting behind. Baltasar Roldan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walmir Tróia in the 62nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Marcelino Roland slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Egídio Sampaio. That made the score 1-4 after 65 minutes of play. Canarinho Atordoado's Egídio Sampaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Ariando in the 69th minute of play. In the 74th minute Walmir Tróia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltasar Roldan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Canarinho Atordoado getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Fábio Porto hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Victoriano Raebert got a free kick in the 84th minute. 87 minutes into the match, DeportivoIndependienteMDP's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Rezende came free, but Baltasar Roldan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Rezende in the 89th minute of play forced DeportivoIndependienteMDP's goalkeeper Baltasar Roldan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victoriano Raebert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baltasar Roldan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmir Tróia in the 92nd minute of play. DeportivoIndependienteMDP's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
