But to his dismay, Frédson Couto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Flamengo CIMZ's zone, Rosalio Pinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Freire came out of the goal and Rosalio Pinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristian Freire showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romelio Ordaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute.
