Cactos's Amauri Prestes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maciej Harbaszewski in the 33rd minute of play. Jan Pazura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Márcio Ceresso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iwan Adamczak hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Norbert Borowski's late challenge caught a Cactos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Norbert Borowski helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd match minute, F.C. Sosnowiec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norbert Borowski to maneuver through the defense.
