Spectators: 7541 (Terracing: 5657, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Efrain Eduino started the match with the kick off. Mateo Pinto kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Martin Austin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amílton Paulista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martin Austin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diamantino Santos in the 14th minute. Amauri Prestes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efrain Eduino, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 22 played minutes Cactos got a freekick which was hit by Arlindo Freire. When Cactos's Diamantino Santos in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Yrigoyen.F.C's goalie prevented a goal. Diamantino Santos scored 1-0 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Martin Austin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Martin Austin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diamantino Santos in the 39th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Yrigoyen.F.C's goalkeeper Martin Austin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diamantino Santos. In the 42nd minute Diamantino Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Austin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Austin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aírton Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Diamantino Santos to strike the kick off in the second half. Yrigoyen.F.C's Nunez Gartzea quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gugu Montenegro, made in the 52nd minute of the game. In the 54th minute Diamantino Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Austin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diamantino Santos took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Martin Austin. Martin Austin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diamantino Santos in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin Austin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amílton Paulista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Austin having to interfere. Martin Austin came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Cactos's Aírton Leite. But to his dismay, Aírton Leite quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 70th minute, Diamantino Santos made a precise shot to the right of Martin Austin. Yrigoyen.F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Martin Austin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diamantino Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, Yrigoyen.F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Amílton Paulista came free, but Martin Austin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute Diamantino Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Austin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Yrigoyen.F.C getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Mateo Pinto hit a great ball. Yrigoyen.F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cactos the free kick. After 86 played minutes Yrigoyen.F.C got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Eduino. The supporters of Cactos booed when Yrigoyen.F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeo Llorian didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diamantino Santos in the 91st minute of play forced Yrigoyen.F.C's goalkeeper Martin Austin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute, Gugu Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
