After some careless play in the Munro Azulgrana defense, Martyn Bowen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arturo Lartaun. The Munro Azulgrana fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arturo Lartaun should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lawrence Banks got free with Arturo Lartaun in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 7th minute, Hermengildo Madaleno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martyn Bowen's late challenge caught a Munro Azulgrana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martyn Bowen helped the player get up and apologised. 11 minutes into the match, Munro Azulgrana's goal looked a bit too open when Keanu Sawyer came free, but Arturo Lartaun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the game, Real Death Ducks's Keanu Sawyer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arturo Lartaun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Fermin Nerio scored 2-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anthony Cahill, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arturo Lartaun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Will Cutts in the 28th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Munro Azulgrana's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Haseldine came free, but Arturo Lartaun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 31 played minutes Munro Azulgrana got a freekick which was hit by David Pedroso. The long shot by Calvin Armitage in the 32nd minute really tested Arturo Lartaun's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 36th minute, Conrado Erauso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martyn Bowen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Lartaun having to interfere. After 42 played minutes Munro Azulgrana got a freekick which was hit by Hilario Shepherd. Ivan Hunter took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arturo Lartaun. Munro Azulgrana's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Keanu Sawyer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arturo Lartaun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Keanu Sawyer went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Fermin Nerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Anthony Cahill tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lawrence Banks during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 68th match minute, Real Death Ducks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lawrence Banks to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute, Keanu Sawyer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arturo Lartaun was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. 76 minutes into the game, Jim Carragher was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Death Ducks's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Munro Azulgrana the free kick. In the 76th match minute, Real Death Ducks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jim Carragher to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Real Death Ducks booed when Munro Azulgrana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Charro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 86 minutes, Hilario Shepherd managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Munro Azulgrana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hilario Shepherd was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute, Martyn Bowen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arturo Lartaun was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Conrado Erauso charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Conrado Erauso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st match minute, Munro Azulgrana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Erauso to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Keanu Sawyer in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arturo Lartaun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arturo Lartaun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lawrence Banks went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. Real Death Ducks were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Munro Azulgrana for a fine match.
