La Z del ZORRO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Papillon AC the free kick. Papillon AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Oscar Urki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Modesto Aresti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 14th minute Gonzalo Haritzeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Aresti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Modesto Aresti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Urki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Oscar Urki came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Papillon AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oscar Urki couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Papillon AC booed when La Z del ZORRO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Vimaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Modesto Aresti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Abella in the 20th minute of play. La Z del ZORRO's Modesto Aresti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Haritzeder in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute Gonzalo Haritzeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Aresti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oscar Urki in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Modesto Aresti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, La Z del ZORRO's Isidoro Inocente got a free kick in the 28th minute. After 32 minutes, Florentino Ralondo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Z del ZORRO and the Papillon AC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd match minute, La Z del ZORRO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florentino Ralondo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Haritzeder in the 33rd minute of play forced La Z del ZORRO's goalkeeper Modesto Aresti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oscar Urki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 41 minutes into the match, La Z del ZORRO's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzalo Haritzeder came free, but Modesto Aresti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45thth minute of the game Oscar Urki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Z del ZORRO's Modesto Aresti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Florentino Ralondo to strike the kick off in the second half. Oscar Urki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Aresti having to interfere. Modesto Aresti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Haritzeder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Modesto Aresti was a little too slow when Gonzalo Haritzeder got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 0-1. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Modesto Aresti successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Florencio Lleir's late challenge caught a Papillon AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florencio Lleir helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of La Z del ZORRO:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Papillon AC:s goal. If Justino Lertxun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the match, La Z del ZORRO's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzalo Haritzeder came free, but Modesto Aresti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Modesto Aresti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Haritzeder in the 84th minute of play. Camilo Vimaro kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. With a little luck, La Z del ZORRO's Modesto Aresti got control of the ball when Oscar Urki tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 92nd minute Gonzalo Haritzeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Aresti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florentino Ralondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Bikendi having to interfere. Papillon AC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
