After 20 played minutes Tupungata got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Ipar. Nicolas Abar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ademir Matorin, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as ViraLataCaramelo U18's Ademir Matorin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nicolas Abar. That made the score 1-0 after 35 minutes of play. If Wellington Rezende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the game, ViraLataCaramelo U18's Wellington Rezende nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicolas Abar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. When Omar Llorian fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tupungata's protests and gave Omar Llorian a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Tupungata's Omar Llorian got a free kick in the 48th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wellington Rezende stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nicolas Abar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ademir Matorin in the 55th minute of play. In the 61st minute Wellington Rezende shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Abar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, ViraLataCaramelo U18's Valdir Duarte got control of the ball when Arsenio Astudillo tried to sneak it across the goal line.
