Frīdis Smukais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Artemio Santio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Artemio Santio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frīdis Smukais's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. The attack was good, but when Frīdis Smukais in the 39th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Artemio Santio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rinalds Brencsons, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frīdis Smukais in the 46th minute of play forced CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's goalkeeper Artemio Santio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

GAUJA's supporters rose to their feet, but Frīdis Smukais was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artemio Santio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 72nd minute, GAUJA's Igmārs Pinkevics ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Artemio Santio. Artemio Santio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. After 76 minutes, Igmārs Pinkevics mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GAUJA and the CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for GAUJA! The referee gave CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS a penalty, 77 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by David Donzel, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of GAUJA's Brencis Dermans. 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido Marino in the 81st minute of play forced GAUJA's goalkeeper Brencis Dermans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frīdis Smukais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Artemio Santio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th match minute, CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robustiano Justin to maneuver through the defense. Romualds Sausais had several of the CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 89 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed Artemio Santio as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 92nd minute, Frīdis Smukais got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th minute of the match Aldis Liestiņš sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Artemio Santio skillfully saved the ball. GAUJA's Frīdis Smukais managed to work through CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Frīdis Smukais dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. GAUJA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
