In the 12th minute, Jan Åman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tiburcio Lauaxeta. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 22nd minute Uriel Mino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ove Damm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvin Kinnman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Tiburcio Lauaxeta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Delmar Fonso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ove Damm having to interfere. Claes Abrahamsson made a great header on Gotham City's corner, it was just that Juventus Argentina FC's Tiburcio Lauaxeta managed to reach the ball for a save. When Lázaro Rodriguez fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
