When David Felo came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Stone City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Felo couldn't finish the play. 8 minutes into the match, VAKFIKEBİR SPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Sandaili came free, but Nuratay Salikbey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baldomero Arias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bora Han Alpsoy hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After 24 played minutes, Stone City's Victoriano Belmiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nuratay Salikbey came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Stone City reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cecilio Lizardi during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of VAKFIKEBİR SPOR booed when Stone City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. After 34 played minutes VAKFIKEBİR SPOR got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Hakan Nesil. 40 minutes into the match, VAKFIKEBİR SPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Atilano Beila came free, but Nuratay Salikbey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Stone City getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. David Felo hit a great ball. VAKFIKEBİR SPOR's Nuratay Salikbey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentino Fresco in the 43rd minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Merih Sarik to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Stone City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Felo to maneuver through the defense. 55 minutes into the game, Atilano Beila cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Nuratay Salikbey was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, VAKFIKEBİR SPOR's Çelik Baltacıoğlu got a free kick in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stone City's David Felo got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of VAKFIKEBİR SPOR booed when Stone City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Sandaili didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baldomero Arias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Merih Sarik in the 94th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Stone City eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
