This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Viggo Martinsson as he didn't even see the shot coming. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ennio Imperatrice during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th match minute, Infami di Canaus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ennio Imperatrice to maneuver through the defense. The Tallboda Gunners fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Tallboda Gunners's Lennart Fredriksson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Tallboda Gunners's goalkeeper Viggo Martinsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alvise Testi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernst Salkvist in the 45th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Didi Vendetta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Infami di Canaus's Didi Vendetta got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kenny Käller hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute Ernst Salkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvise Testi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Tallboda Gunners's Svante Josefsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alvise Testi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Infami di Canaus getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Andrea Tagliente hit a great ball. Alvise Testi was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Ernst Salkvist capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ernst Salkvist really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. After a defensive mix-up in Tallboda Gunners's zone, Didi Vendetta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viggo Martinsson came out of the goal and Didi Vendetta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tallboda Gunners's Viggo Martinsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Diana in the 85th minute of play. The Infami di Canaus players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
