Iuri Negri didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Txema Mudarra in the 4th minute really tested Cauan Medeiros's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Galsino Navarro charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Galsino Navarro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Master Champion made a substitution. Orlando Pereira replaced Iuri Negri. In the 7th minute, Galsino Navarro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luis-Antonio Jurado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matías Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tirant lo Blanch's Luis-Antonio Jurado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matías Barreto in the 19th minute of play. Wesley Barbosa took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luis-Antonio Jurado. Luis-Antonio Jurado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 23rd minute, Juan Sánchez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tirant lo Blanch fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 26 played minutes Tirant lo Blanch got a freekick which was hit by Galsino Navarro. The crowd rose to their feet as Tirant lo Blanch's Juan Sánchez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cauan Medeiros. That made the score 2-1 after 33 minutes of play. In the 38th match minute, Tirant lo Blanch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asier Checa to maneuver through the defense. 2-2 became the score in the 47th minute when Matías Barreto elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juan Sánchez made a kick off. After 55 minutes, Juan Sánchez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tirant lo Blanch and the Master Champion players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64thth minute of the game Matías Barreto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tirant lo Blanch's Luis-Antonio Jurado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. During the 70th minute of the match Juan Sánchez completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Juan Sánchez a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Angel Villa's late challenge caught a Master Champion's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angel Villa helped the player get up and apologised. Gai Alavedra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 94th minute Galsino Navarro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cauan Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 97th minute, Angel Villa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Master Champion were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
