Spectators: 7587 (Terracing: 5691, Seating: 1745, VIP seats: 151) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Adelino Lopes started the match with the kick off. Vamos Los Pibes!!!!'s Nunez Chorche got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 4 minutes into the game, Vamos Los Pibes!!!!'s Cecilio Rencio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eurico Figueira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Jeronimo Bartoli hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Filipe Quinaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 14th minute, Salvador Resende hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute of the match Placido Maore sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eurico Figueira skillfully saved the ball. Adelino Lopes had several of the Vamos Los Pibes!!!!'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 16 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Mateo Pabla as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 19th minute, Cecilio Rencio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eurico Figueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cecilio Rencio in the 25th minute of play. Eurico Figueira came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Vamos Los Pibes!!!!'s Nunez Chorche. But to his dismay, Nunez Chorche quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After 35 played minutes Vamos Los Pibes!!!! got a freekick which was hit by Nunez Chorche. Mateo Pabla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aparício Taborda, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Artemio Ceandro kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Mateo Pabla made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Adolfo Pires sent off a good shot on target. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victorio Dacio made a kick off. Eurico Figueira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cecilio Rencio in the 51st minute. In the 54th minute Adelino Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Pabla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Ventura kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Cecilio Rencio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Eurico Figueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nunez Chorche might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eurico Figueira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nunez Chorche ran back to his position shaking his head. Eurico Figueira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nunez Chorche went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorio Dacio in the 73rd minute of play forced Gremio Viana's goalkeeper Eurico Figueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eurico Figueira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cecilio Rencio in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute Victorio Dacio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eurico Figueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78thth minute of the game Victorio Dacio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gremio Viana's Eurico Figueira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 80 played minutes Vamos Los Pibes!!!! got a freekick which was hit by Victorio Dacio. 82 minutes into the game, Adelino Lopes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Mateo Pabla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mateo Pabla came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Gremio Viana's Adelino Lopes. But to his dismay, Adelino Lopes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. In the 95th minute, Cecilio Rencio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Vamos Los Pibes!!!! players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gremio Viana.
