Holger Kluge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Batıkan Tekcan in the 9th minute of play. Celalettin Mert came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by SSV Ulm 1846's Teddy Nissen. But to his dismay, Teddy Nissen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in SSV Ulm 1846's zone, Batıkan Tekcan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Holger Kluge came out of the goal and Batıkan Tekcan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 17 minutes into the match, SSV Ulm 1846's goalkeeper Holger Kluge had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Şafak Akgüngör. Holger Kluge was a little too slow when Hızır Zeynelabidin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 36th minute Hızır Zeynelabidin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Holger Kluge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, SSV Ulm 1846's goal looked a bit too open when Hızır Zeynelabidin came free, but Holger Kluge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, SSV Ulm 1846's Holger Kluge got control of the ball when Şafak Akgüngör tried to sneak it across the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Celalettin Mert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oskar Zimmert, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 55 minutes into the match, SSV Ulm 1846's goal looked a bit too open when Batıkan Tekcan came free, but Holger Kluge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Balder Heintges in the 57th minute of play forced XL-Azrail Team's goalkeeper Celalettin Mert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celalettin Mert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Balder Heintges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, SSV Ulm 1846's Oskar Zimmert got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 66th minute Şafak Akgüngör shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Holger Kluge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Oskar Zimmert dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Celalettin Mert, 1-2. After having played for 77 minutes, Batıkan Tekcan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. XL-Azrail Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Batıkan Tekcan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 81st minute Batıkan Tekcan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Holger Kluge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hızır Zeynelabidin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Holger Kluge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hızır Zeynelabidin in the 85th minute of play. When Batıkan Tekcan came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the XL-Azrail Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Batıkan Tekcan couldn't finish the play. In the 89th minute Batıkan Tekcan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Holger Kluge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hızır Zeynelabidin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The SSV Ulm 1846 players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
