After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Niculae Bărbulescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unicorns ™'s supporters rose to their feet, but Niculae Bărbulescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Betinho Rosado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan Vaz in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Corneliu Vulpăşin saved Unicorns ™ from getting behind. Juan Vaz struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Corneliu Vulpăşin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leão STAND BY FSCMZ. Dagoberto de Sousa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Betinho Rosado was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Alex Răduț capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alex Răduț really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. When Magno de Senna fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leão STAND BY FSCMZ's protests and gave Magno de Senna a yellow card for diving instead. After 21 played minutes Leão STAND BY FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Magno de Senna. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Leão STAND BY FSCMZ's goalkeeper Betinho Rosado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Iulian Buciu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the match, Unicorns ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Dagoberto de Sousa came free, but Corneliu Vulpăşin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Leão STAND BY FSCMZ's Pedrão Gomes got a free kick in the 28th minute. A hard shot by Iulian Buciu from long distance, 29 minutes into the match, got Betinho Rosado's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a rather tough play, Leão STAND BY FSCMZ's Magno de Senna got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Alberto Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Corneliu Vulpăşin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Niculae Bărbulescu took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Betinho Rosado to make any attempt to save it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

57 minutes into the match, Alex Răduț had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Betinho Rosado. Leão STAND BY FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alex Răduț was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Dagoberto de Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corneliu Vulpăşin having to interfere. Iulian Buciu's late challenge caught a Leão STAND BY FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iulian Buciu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Unicorns ™'s Iulian Buciu got a free kick in the 67th minute. Iulian Buciu got his second yellow card in the match during the 70th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 70th match minute, Unicorns ™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iulian Buciu to maneuver through the defense. Unicorns ™'s Niculae Bărbulescu got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niculae Bărbulescu in the 83rd minute of play forced Leão STAND BY FSCMZ's goalkeeper Betinho Rosado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cássio Veiga hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 89 minutes into the match, Leão STAND BY FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Răduț came free, but Betinho Rosado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leão STAND BY FSCMZ's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
