In the 6th minute, Gaston Amorebieta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Davi Prestes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Erivaldo Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th match minute, Campanar City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Goren Puyol to maneuver through the defense. If Guto Mineiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaston Amorebieta in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Davi Prestes saved Nitra FC from getting behind. If Eulalio Zapater had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Júnior Sá charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Júnior Sá the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Júnior Sá hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Nitra FC's zone, Eulalio Zapater stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Davi Prestes came out of the goal and Eulalio Zapater tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Erivaldo Seco came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Nitra FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erivaldo Seco couldn't finish the play. Guto Mineiro's late challenge caught a Campanar City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guto Mineiro helped the player get up and apologised. Guto Mineiro hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. The Nitra FC fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Nitra FC's Erivaldo Seco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Davi Prestes came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Campanar City's Frasco Cortes. But to his dismay, Frasco Cortes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 45 played minutes Campanar City got a freekick which was hit by Goren Puyol. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 51st match minute, Nitra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nelsinho Ceresso to maneuver through the defense. Ariando Dominguez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerson Araújo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ariando Dominguez was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Gerson Araújo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gerson Araújo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. If Gerson Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Guto Mineiro was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 67 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Nitra FC's Guto Mineiro got a free kick in the 67th minute. 71 minutes into the game, Campanar City's Gaston Amorebieta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Davi Prestes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Joselito Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Júnior Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Amorebieta in the 84th minute of play forced Nitra FC's goalkeeper Davi Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Nitra FC defense, Gaston Amorebieta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Davi Prestes. The Nitra FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Davi Prestes should have stopped the shot. Gaston Amorebieta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Davi Prestes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaston Amorebieta's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Campanar City fans cheered their team off the field, for while Nitra FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
