Spectators: 7443 (Terracing: 5583, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 148) Mjöllnir's Didier Bonenfant started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marc Brand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alan de Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 7 minutes into the game, Alan de Souza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Marc Brand was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mjöllnir's Marc Brand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan de Souza in the 15th minute of play. When Narciso Cardoso came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Microsoft Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Narciso Cardoso couldn't finish the play. 19 minutes in the game, Eusébio Tróia dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. If Didier Bonenfant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marc Brand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alan de Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th match minute, Mjöllnir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quentin Schmidlin to maneuver through the defense. Luiz Fernando Ferraz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marc Brand. Mjöllnir's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ralf Scenna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mjöllnir's Marc Brand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan de Souza in the 45th minute of play. After the first half Microsoft Team were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Alan de Souza made the kick off in the second half. Luiz Fernando Ferrazs short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Marc Brand to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ralf Scenna during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ralf Scenna kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Dedê Cosme kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Timotheus Sennrich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute, Alan de Souza reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marc Brand. The goal made the score 0-2. If Didier Bonenfant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Arthur de Mendonça fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Microsoft Team's protests and gave Arthur de Mendonça a yellow card for diving instead. Dorian Catarinense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ralf Scenna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Didier Bonenfant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Dorian Catarinense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Didier Bonenfant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dominik Dubois charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dominik Dubois the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Mjöllnir getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Dominik Dubois hit a great ball. When the match was over Microsoft Team could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mjöllnir throughout the match.
