The referee ignored Microsoft Team's protests and gave Ernesto Bertassi a yellow card for diving instead. Dorian Catarinense was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Barto Falla. Tercero Arriete showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan de Souza in the 39th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Microsoft Team's goalkeeper Dorian Catarinense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fonda Caban. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Alan de Souza made the kick off in the second half. Microsoft Team were furious when André Luís Pernambucano was red carded, 55 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Microsoft Team fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 54th minute. Penalty!
