Emilian Martínez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaká Gerber in the 13th minute of play. In the 15thth minute of the game Kaká Gerber who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Predators's Emilian Martínez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arif Memduh Pekalp charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arif Memduh Pekalp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Mukifus FSCMZ fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Mukifus FSCMZ's Kaká Gerber looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Mukifus FSCMZ getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Kaká Gerber hit a great ball. After 23 played minutes Mukifus FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Claudinei Brasil. 24 minutes into the match, Mukifus FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Afşar Özçevik came free, but Noel Hermes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Kaká Gerber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Kaká Gerber's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emilian Martínez was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. In the 35th match minute, Predators was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arif Memduh Pekalp to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute, Kaká Gerber got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. João Paulo Neiva had several of the Predators's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 39 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Emilian Martínez as he didn't even see the shot coming. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The supporters of Predators booed when Mukifus FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antônio Carlos Tróia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emilian Martínez came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Mukifus FSCMZ's Kaká Gerber. But to his dismay, Kaká Gerber quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 57 minutes into the game, Kaká Gerber was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mukifus FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Predators the free kick. In the 57th match minute, Mukifus FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaká Gerber to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the game, Pavel Nedvěd threw the ball into play from the sideline. Mukifus FSCMZ's João Paulo Neiva quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Hamit Öğüç hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. 65 minutes into the match, Mukifus FSCMZ's goalkeeper Noel Hermes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hamit Öğüç. Predators's Hamit Öğüç got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Antônio Carlos Tróia fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mukifus FSCMZ's protests and gave Antônio Carlos Tróia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 79th match minute, Mukifus FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antônio Carlos Tróia to maneuver through the defense. Emilian Martínez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaká Gerber in the 98th minute of the match. Mukifus FSCMZ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
