When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Calistrat Potopea put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Christian Frans. 9 minutes into the game, Mihail Onaca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Trip the free kick. After 9 played minutes F.C CLUJ MEDICINA got a freekick which was hit by Mihail Onaca. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Gigel Bulgar got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Calistrat Potopea sped through Los Trip's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Christian Frans. Silvano Breogan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvano Breogan got free with Claudiu Pușcașu in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34th match minute, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ion Isaicu to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute, Gigel Bulgar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F.C CLUJ MEDICINA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 45th minute of the match, Iker Ruy tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Claudiu Pușcașu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Claudiu Pușcașu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niceto Ofelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Los Trip players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gigel Bulgar made a kick off. Claudiu Pușcașu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iker Ruy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvano Breogan in the 63rd minute of play forced F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's goalkeeper Claudiu Pușcașu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th match minute, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihail Onaca to maneuver through the defense. In the 78thth minute of the game Iker Ruy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Claudiu Pușcașu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to F.C CLUJ MEDICINA getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Cristian Comarnescu hit a great ball. Mihail Onaca kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After having played for 82 minutes, Iker Ruy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Trip's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iker Ruy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iker Ruy's late challenge caught a F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iker Ruy helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of F.C CLUJ MEDICINA booed when Los Trip was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iker Ruy didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Los Trip supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's performance. The match ended with a win for F.C CLUJ MEDICINA.
