After 2 played minutes FRIENDS CITY got a freekick which was hit by Amauri Corrêa. Luiz Paulo Brasil's late challenge caught a F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luiz Paulo Brasil helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FRIENDS CITY getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Luiz Paulo Brasil hit a great ball. In the 6th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Șerban Rusu hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. After having played for 11 minutes, Gigel Bulgar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gigel Bulgar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Calistrat Potopea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gigel Bulgar might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mané Aguiar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gigel Bulgar ran back to his position shaking his head. Mané Aguiar was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Gigel Bulgar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gigel Bulgar really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The supporters of F.C CLUJ MEDICINA booed when FRIENDS CITY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Falcão Mangueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Washington Dionísio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claudiu Pușcașu having to make a save. Washington Dionísio hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Mané Aguiar came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Calistrat Potopea. But to his dismay, Calistrat Potopea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Gigel Bulgar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mané Aguiar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Dragoş Cordescu got a free kick in the 57th minute. Claudiu Pușcașu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Paulo Brasil in the 58th minute of the match. In the 59thth minute of the game Falcão Mangueira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Claudiu Pușcașu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Washington Dionísio kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After some careless play in the FRIENDS CITY defense, Gigel Bulgar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mané Aguiar. The FRIENDS CITY fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mané Aguiar should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fellipe Carneiro during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Washington Dionísio hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Falcão Mangueira in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Claudiu Pușcașu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Falcão Mangueira struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Claudiu Pușcașu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FRIENDS CITY. The audience thought a goal was coming when Falcão Mangueira got free with Claudiu Pușcașu in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FRIENDS CITY for a fine match.
