The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Rocky Balboa Team booed when TotoRACING was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gualterio Meder didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeremias Kismi made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Carlos Quinto sent off a good shot on target. 11 minutes into the match, TotoRACING's goalkeeper Jeremias Kismi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Quinto. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of TotoRACING:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rocky Balboa Team:s goal. Carlos Quinto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Jeremias Kismi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 19th minute, TotoRACING's Astor Chayo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Astor Chayo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of TotoRACING protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Astor Chayo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for TotoRACING! TotoRACING:s Jeremias Kismi showed great skill when he stopped Pascual Nofre:s penalty. 29 minutes into the match, Hernan Txerran had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aureliano Ospin. Rocky Balboa Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hernan Txerran was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Hernan Txerran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Aureliano Ospin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeremias Kismi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amancio Criston's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Camilo Phelipe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hernan Txerran to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind TotoRACING's goalkeeper Jeremias Kismi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Atilano Guifre's late challenge caught a Rocky Balboa Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Atilano Guifre helped the player get up and apologised. After 65 played minutes TotoRACING got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Guifre. When Carlos Quinto came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Rocky Balboa Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Quinto couldn't finish the play. TotoRACING's Jeremias Kismi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Quinto in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Gualterio Meder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hernan Txerran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Aureliano Ospin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. TotoRACING's Jeremias Kismi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Criston in the 87th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, TotoRACING's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Quinto came free, but Jeremias Kismi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute, Amancio Criston ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jeremias Kismi was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. In the 95th minute Amancio Criston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Kismi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the TotoRACING players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rocky Balboa Team.
