Fernando Prado hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. If Alessandro Checchia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot by Délio Furtado from long distance, 12 minutes into the match, got Donato Stefano's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Concetto Alberico hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Flávio Fantini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Diana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. S.C.PAULISTA's Flávio Fantini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Diana in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute Alberto Diana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flávio Fantini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Hugo da Fonseca fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.C.PAULISTA's protests and gave Hugo da Fonseca a yellow card for diving instead. After 42 played minutes S.C.PAULISTA got a freekick which was hit by Hugo da Fonseca. Alberto Diana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jean Borges made a kick off. Flávio Fantini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alessandro Checchia in the 55th minute. Donato Stefano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Prado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Fernando Prado came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the S.C.PAULISTA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Prado couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Prado in the 61st minute of play forced Acilia Town's goalkeeper Donato Stefano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. S.C.PAULISTA's Flávio Fantini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Diana in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Alessandro Checchia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Flávio Fantini was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After a rather tough play, S.C.PAULISTA's João Francisco Neves got a free kick in the 70th minute. The supporters of Acilia Town booed when S.C.PAULISTA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Délio Furtado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alessandro Checchia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Flávio Fantini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th play minute Alessandro Checchia came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Flávio Fantini. 0-4. Jean Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the game, S.C.PAULISTA's Fernando Prado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Donato Stefano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Jean Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Donato Stefano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Acilia Town's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
