When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Edelmiro Matei took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Roque Montrelle to make any attempt to save it. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Guaberto Mederi sped through Argon's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roque Montrelle. The crowd rose to their feet as Manchester City's Guaberto Mederi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Roque Montrelle. That made the score 4-0 after 20 minutes of play. 22 minutes into the match, Argon's goal looked a bit too open when Guaberto Mederi came free, but Roque Montrelle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Argon defense, Jeremias Ikatz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roque Montrelle. The Argon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roque Montrelle should have stopped the shot. In the 31st match minute, Argon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Bieito to maneuver through the defense. Manchester City's Mateo Cordaro got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Argon's goalkeeper Roque Montrelle had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guaberto Mederi. Roque Montrelle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateo Cordaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guaberto Mederi scored 7-0 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roque Montrelle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

Guaberto Mederi took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roque Montrelle. Roque Montrelle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Melquiades Adrio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Argon's supporters rose to their feet, but Melquiades Adrio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filomeno Lore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roque Montrelle came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Manchester City's Jeremias Ikatz. But to his dismay, Jeremias Ikatz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. In the 62nd minute Mateo Cordaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roque Montrelle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Manchester City fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Manchester City's Edelmiro Matei looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 10-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Guillelme in the 69th minute of play forced Argon's goalkeeper Roque Montrelle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 71 minutes of play, Manchester City's Guaberto Mederi made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roque Montrelle was left in no man's land by his defense there! 74 minutes into the match, Argon's goal looked a bit too open when Guaberto Mederi came free, but Roque Montrelle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roque Montrelle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Ikatz, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Argon's Erubiel Otsando got his second yellow card of the match in the 95th minute. The referee ordered Erubiel Otsando off the ground.
