Gösta Hedkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 31 minutes into the game, when Anthon Strömbom put in a rough tackle. Caskinha Sport Clube's Orlando da Mata got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Caskinha Sport Clube getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Agnaldo da Mata hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. The shot was stopped by Benê Zonta but with some difficulty. Nils-Åke Kristiansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caio dos Santos in the 86th minute of the match. After 91 played minutes Caskinha Sport Clube got a freekick which was hit by Vágner Furlan.
