In the 3rd minute, Almir de Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Juanita's zone, Zé Pedro Ribeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evelio Crispo came out of the goal and Zé Pedro Ribeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 8 minutes into the game, Zeledon Breogan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atletico Juanita's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montevideo the free kick. After 8 played minutes Club Atletico Juanita got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Breogan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Breogan in the 13th minute of play forced Montevideo's goalkeeper Giovani Salgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Leon Maraman notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Montevideo's Giovani Salgado. Giovani Salgado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 19th play minutes Renan Barbosa shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Evelio Crispo and just under the crossbar into goal. Arnulfo Ferran kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. A hard shot by Alfredão Maia from long distance, 26 minutes into the match, got Evelio Crispo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 29th minute Benjamin Kinsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovani Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Dagoberto Loyola recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Evelio Crispo. Dagoberto Loyola showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. After a rather tough play, Montevideo's Alfredão Maia got a free kick in the 41st minute. 41 minutes into the match, Montevideo's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Ferran came free, but Giovani Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 45 minutes of play, Club Atletico Juanita's Anibal Maidana made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Giovani Salgado was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

The wind increased when Dagoberto Loyola made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Anibal Maidana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giovani Salgado. Montevideo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anibal Maidana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. The supporters of Club Atletico Juanita booed when Montevideo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Donato didn't get a good kick on the ball. Montevideo's Giovani Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Maraman in the 59th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Giovani Salgado successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Pastor Benat kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Anibal Maidana took a quick shot and it went in 2-5 without a chance for Giovani Salgado to make any attempt to save it. Zé Pedro Ribeiro hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 85th match minute, Club Atletico Juanita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Arias to maneuver through the defense. Dagoberto Loyola charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dagoberto Loyola the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dagoberto Loyola hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, Leon Maraman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atletico Juanita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-6. Zé Pedro Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Club Atletico Juanita had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
