The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Albert Hammersland had to leave the field with a concussion. When Emil Masanović fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Warriors of Gora™'s protests and gave Emil Masanović a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th match minute, Warriors of Gora™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Masanović to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th match minute, Dum Dum Boys Athletics was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Espen Kielland to maneuver through the defense. Radoslav Miličić could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Morten Sviland made a huge save. Morten Sviland was a little too slow when Radoslav Miličić got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 1-0. Dum Dum Boys Athletics's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Mirko Skorupan scored to the left of an out of position Morten Sviland, making the score, 2-0. 19 minutes into the game, Dum Dum Boys Athletics's Sindre Torheim nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Njegovan Baletić made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After some careless play in the Warriors of Gora™ defense, Richard Stordal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Njegovan Baletić. The Warriors of Gora™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Njegovan Baletić should have stopped the shot. Mirko Skorupan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Morten Sviland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Radoslav Miličić got free with Morten Sviland in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 37th minute, Radoslav Miličić ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Morten Sviland was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Damjan Fatić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vasilj Kanja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Morten Sviland having to interfere. Morten Sviland made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Vasilj Kanja sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Radoslav Miličić got free with Morten Sviland in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mirko Skorupan to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Dum Dum Boys Athletics's Jon-Erik Ottosen got a free kick in the 55th minute. Morten Sviland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mirko Skorupan in the 60th minute of play. Radoslav Miličić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Warriors of Gora™ made a substitution. Ratko Vujičić replaced Radisav Rajković. Warriors of Gora™'s Janko Sarić was substituted for Radoslav Miličić. Janko Sarić hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Sindre Torheim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Njegovan Baletić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 84 played minutes Warriors of Gora™ got a freekick which was hit by Duško Brkić. After having played for 85 minutes, Sindre Torheim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dum Dum Boys Athletics's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sindre Torheim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute, Vasilj Kanja left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Warriors of Gora™ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Warriors of Gora™ had played much better football throughout.
