In the 7th match minute, Karpaty Krosno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beniamin Karp to maneuver through the defense. Marian Podgoreanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zula Marut, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 13th minute Tudor Bărbânță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartlomiej Munko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Bartlomiej Munko threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Iulian Bucurescu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moise Amânaloae got free with Bartlomiej Munko in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bartlomiej Munko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tudor Bărbânță in the 18th minute of play. After 21 minutes, Tudor Bărbânță mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC UNIREA Alba Iulia and the Karpaty Krosno players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tudor Bărbânță hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Karpaty Krosno were furious when Gustaw Ranowiecki was red carded, 23 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Gustaw Ranowiecki kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Tudor Bărbânță scored 1-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bartlomiej Munko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 35th play minutes Moise Amânaloae shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Bartlomiej Munko and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tudor Bărbânță in the 40th minute of play forced Karpaty Krosno's goalkeeper Bartlomiej Munko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bartlomiej Munko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moise Amânaloae, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tudor Bărbânță to strike the kick off in the second half. Marian Podgoreanu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 54th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Beniamin Karp. In the 54th match minute, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moise Amânaloae to maneuver through the defense. Cristi Platon took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bartlomiej Munko. Bartlomiej Munko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 61st minute, Tudor Bărbânță ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bartlomiej Munko was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Bartlomiej Munko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iulian Bucurescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the match, Moise Amânaloae had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bartlomiej Munko. Karpaty Krosno's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moise Amânaloae was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Cezary Ramzinski kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Cristi Platon managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristi Platon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bartlomiej Munko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 77 minutes into the match, Tudor Bărbânță had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bartlomiej Munko. Karpaty Krosno's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tudor Bărbânță was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Karpaty Krosno's Bartlomiej Munko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tudor Bărbânță in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Karpaty Krosno's goal looked a bit too open when Tudor Bărbânță came free, but Bartlomiej Munko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bartlomiej Munko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristi Platon in the 85th minute of play. There was no doubt that FC UNIREA Alba Iulia were the better team. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
