C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo were furious when Atilano Rodriguez was red carded, 17 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo! In the 19th minute, Beniamin Karp made a precise shot to the right of Arturo George. C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Doctor Khumalo hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Ruperto Taurino hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Beniamin Karp struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Arturo George didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karpaty Krosno. In the 31st minute, Dariusz Perkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Doctor Khumalo in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bartlomiej Munko saved Karpaty Krosno from getting behind. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Dariusz Perkowski kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. When Dariusz Perkowski got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Karpaty Krosno. Doctor Khumalo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bartlomiej Munko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. When Doctor Khumalo came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doctor Khumalo couldn't finish the play. Through an outstanding action, after 65 minutes, Arturo George successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Arturo George showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zula Marut, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Doctor Khumalo managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's supporters rose to their feet, but Doctor Khumalo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bartlomiej Munko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arturo George made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zula Marut in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Karpaty Krosno's Zula Marut dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Bartlomiej Munko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Doctor Khumalo went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Doctor Khumalo hit a great ball. Dariusz Perkowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arturo George having to make a save. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Karpaty Krosno players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
