If Raimundo Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atlético Cristo Rei's Vítor Netto suffered a concussion in the 18th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Eugen Păsărin hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Atlético Cristo Rei made a substitution. Maurinho Couto replaced Vítor Netto. After 21 played minutes ⚽RAE⚽ got a freekick which was hit by Eugen Păsărin. Maurinho Couto came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Luca Tache could save by the left post. If Felippe Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in ⚽RAE⚽'s zone, Maurinho Couto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luca Tache came out of the goal and Maurinho Couto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29thth minute of the game Felippe Sena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ⚽RAE⚽'s Luca Tache was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 29 played minutes ⚽RAE⚽ got a freekick which was hit by Aristide Maghiar. 32 minutes into the match, Felippe Sena dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Luca Tache, 3-0. If Maurinho Couto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luca Tache took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurinho Couto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute Felippe Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luca Tache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maurinho Couto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Luca Tache made a huge save. Maurinho Couto struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Luca Tache didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Cristo Rei. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aristide Maghiar made a kick off. After 51st play minutes Felippe Sena shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Luca Tache and just under the crossbar into goal. Pedrão Vergílio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Luca Tache tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Atlético Cristo Rei's Felippe Sena sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luca Tache narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, ⚽RAE⚽'s Aristide Maghiar got a free kick in the 69th minute. The supporters of Atlético Cristo Rei booed when ⚽RAE⚽ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iacob Nedelcea didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felippe Sena in the 83rd minute of play forced ⚽RAE⚽'s goalkeeper Luca Tache to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
