An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Zanette in the 15th minute of play forced Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC's goalkeeper Cornelio Ordono to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC's Cornelio Ordono got control of the ball when Romeu Santos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cornelio Ordono showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Eduardo Jacinto in the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th minute Carlos Eduardo Jacinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Ordono saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romeu Santos to make the kick off. Carlos Eduardo Jacinto might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cornelio Ordono. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Eduardo Jacinto ran back to his position shaking his head. If Carlos Eduardo Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. In the 95th minute, one of Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC. In the 98th minute there was a penalty for Aurora FC. Leonel Loureiro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cornelio Ordono. 3-2. When the referee ended the match the Aurora FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
