When Claus Madariaga fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Fillos de Breogán's Jesús Quiroga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Misael in the 38th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Toni Bermejo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half EL CERVECERO F.C. were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. David Misael was the one to do the kick off. Jesús Quiroga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Octavio Guter in the 51st minute. When Ereinotz Lacorte came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Fillos de Breogán fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ereinotz Lacorte couldn't finish the play. In the 55th minute, Saturnino Evarado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the match, Fillos de Breogán's goalkeeper Jesús Quiroga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Misael. Jesús Quiroga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisito Aragones in the 61st minute of the match. Ereinotz Lacorte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jesús Quiroga was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luisito Aragones showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 70 minute of play. Fillos de Breogán's Jesús Quiroga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisito Aragones in the 74th minute of play. Jesús Quiroga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Guter in the 75th minute of play. Octavio Guter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Jesús Quiroga made a huge save. With a little luck, Fillos de Breogán's Jesús Quiroga got control of the ball when Octavio Guter tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 82nd minute, EL CERVECERO F.C.'s Luisito Aragones dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. In the 89th minute David Misael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesús Quiroga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Guter in the 90th minute of play forced Fillos de Breogán's goalkeeper Jesús Quiroga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jesús Quiroga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisito Aragones, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Jesús Quiroga made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Misael in the 96th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. EL CERVECERO F.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
