Oskar Pettersson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dre Coomans having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Cheetah Team's Rutger Gustafsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dre Coomans. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice moves Rutger Gustafsson could shoot a difficult shot in the 19th minute, which Dre Coomans however easily saved by the left post. Jörgen Qvalfeldt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaba Okala, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Cheetah Team's Oskar Pettersson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dre Coomans. That made the score 2-0 after 26 minutes of play. The supporters of Selebi-Phikwe booed when Cheetah Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rutger Gustafsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Selebi-Phikwe's Pieterjan Valckeneers in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cheetah Team's goalie prevented a goal. Benjamin De Wulf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Jörgen Qvalfeldt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Oskar Pettersson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th minute Pieterjan Valckeneers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jörgen Qvalfeldt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Tage Ekström in the 53rd minute of play forced Selebi-Phikwe's goalkeeper Dre Coomans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Cheetah Team's David Berggren got a free kick in the 54th minute. The throw-in from Quentin Villyn in the 62nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Cheetah Team's Göran Stål. Selebi-Phikwe's Dre Coomans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oskar Pettersson in the 63rd minute of play. In the 67th minute, Pieterjan Valckeneers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 68 minutes, Gilbert Benett mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cheetah Team and the Selebi-Phikwe players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 69th minute, Ernest De Koq sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Cheetah Team's Jörgen Qvalfeldt didn't even have to move. In the 76th minute Kaba Okala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jörgen Qvalfeldt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Refael Konings fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörgen Qvalfeldt having to interfere. Rutger Gustafsson hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 89 minutes into the game, Quentin Villyn threw the ball into play from the sideline. Cheetah Team's Göran Stål quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Selebi-Phikwe's Dre Coomans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rutger Gustafsson in the 91st minute of play. After 94 played minutes Cheetah Team got a freekick which was hit by Pål Bratt. Cheetah Team's Jörgen Qvalfeldt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Cheetah Team from getting a goal against them. Tage Ekström kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Selebi-Phikwe's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
