Refael Konings blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jörgen Qvalfeldt having to make a save. Selebi-Phikwe's Benjamin De Wulf was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 5th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After a rather tough play, Selebi-Phikwe's Quentin Villyn got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 12th minute, Rasmus Botvidsson made a precise shot to the right of Dre Coomans. Selebi-Phikwe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yanis Van Schoorisse in the 16th minute of play forced Cheetah Team's goalkeeper Jörgen Qvalfeldt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 17 minutes, Benjamin De Wulf managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Selebi-Phikwe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin De Wulf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 20th minute, Cheetah Team's Per-Oskar Västlund seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Per-Oskar Västlund the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Cheetah Team protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Per-Oskar Västlund had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Selebi-Phikwe booed when Cheetah Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Oskar Västlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jörgen Qvalfeldt was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Benjamin De Wulf capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Benjamin De Wulf really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. When Selebi-Phikwe's Benjamin De Wulf in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamin De Wulf in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jörgen Qvalfeldt saved Cheetah Team from getting behind. Jörgen Qvalfeldt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yanis Van Schoorisse went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. In the 44th match minute, Cheetah Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uno Bergfeldt to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

The wind increased when Björn Hammarbäck made the kick off in the second half. Jörgen Qvalfeldt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benjamin De Wulf went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Cheetah Team's Malte Albohm quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Cederik Worteleers, made in the 59th minute of the game. Björn Hammarbäck blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dre Coomans having to make a save. Cheetah Team's Fredric Jansson shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 72nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Dre Coomans but with some difficulty. A collision led to Selebi-Phikwe getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Ernest De Koq hit a great ball. Kurt Van Hove hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Cheetah Team's Björn Hammarbäck got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Cheetah Team getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Malte Albohm hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Benjamin De Wulf's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jörgen Qvalfeldt was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. After 93 played minutes Björn Hammarbäck shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Selebi-Phikwe's Dre Coomans to catch but Björn Hammarbäck was lucky. It became 5-3 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Selebi-Phikwe fully deserved thier win.
