In the 3rd minute, Oséias Carioca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Motta Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 8th match minute, Motta Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlinhos Vidal to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Motta Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Juninho Pombal hit a great ball. In the 11th minute of the match Archibaldo Arria shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christiano Guimarães showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's Cordeal Mayoral in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Motta Futebol Clube's goalie prevented a goal. In the 15th minute, Oséias Carioca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rafel Llama was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Carlinhos Vidal kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After some careless play in the JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC defense, Carlinhos Vidal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafel Llama. The JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafel Llama should have stopped the shot. Rafel Llama showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oséias Carioca, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After taking down the ball on Motta Futebol Clube's corner Cássio Bueno fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rafel Llama quite easily take care of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Motta Futebol Clube's zone, Frutos Cardeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christiano Guimarães came out of the goal and Frutos Cardeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cordeal Mayoral in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Christiano Guimarães, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Motta Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Juninho Pombal hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's Cordeal Mayoral sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christiano Guimarães narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlinhos Vidal came free, but Rafel Llama reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, one of Motta Futebol Clube:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Motta Futebol Clube. Christiano Guimarães had in the 49thth minute some difficulties stopping Archibaldo Arria's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After the first half Motta Futebol Clube were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Cordeal Mayoral made the kick off in the second half. In the 57thth minute of the game Cordeal Mayoral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Motta Futebol Clube's Christiano Guimarães was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A nice corner shot did that Archibaldo Arria got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Christiano Guimarães quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's Rafel Llama played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlinhos Vidal in the 63rd minute of play. Motta Futebol Clube were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joélson Nogueira took the corner. After 68 minutes, Cordeal Mayoral made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Motta Futebol Clube's Christiano Guimarães tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 71 minutes of play, Motta Futebol Clube's Joélson Nogueira made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rafel Llama was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Frutos Cardeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 79th minute Frutos Cardeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christiano Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC booed when Motta Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joélson Nogueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Motta Futebol Clube's Paulo Renato Motta got his second yellow card of the match in the 91st minute. The referee ordered Paulo Renato Motta off the ground. After 92 played minutes Motta Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Renato Motta. Joélson Nogueira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rafel Llama came out and tried to block the shot, but Joélson Nogueira slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 98th minute. The Motta Futebol Clube players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
