In the 2nd match minute, Sportivo Desamparados was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carolo Servando to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Sportivo Desamparados's zone, Karel Lev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damaso Llin came out of the goal and Karel Lev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miroslav Kubálek had great luck who in the 9thth minute grab hold of the ball when Carolo Servando from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Sportivo Desamparados's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Silvano Ugutz in the 10th minute. After taking down the ball on Sportivo Desamparados's corner Silvano Ugutz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Miroslav Kubálek quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Desamparados's Matias Haitz got a free kick in the 10th minute. After a rather tough play, Moneyball's Vladimír Šebestík got a free kick in the 13th minute. Moneyball's Josef Sadil got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karel Lev in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damaso Llin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anatolij Dirda kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Thiago Caniggia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Miroslav Kubálek was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Moneyball's Alfons Kuhn got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 29 minutes into the game, Alojz Remeš was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moneyball's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sportivo Desamparados the free kick. In the 29th minute, Alojz Remeš hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute of the match Eugenio Urritz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Miroslav Kubálek showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Josef Sadil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Moneyball's Miroslav Kubálek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carolo Servando in the 39th minute of play. When Columbo Columbo fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Moneyball's protests and gave Columbo Columbo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Moneyball getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Columbo Columbo hit a great ball. After 48 played minutes Carolo Servando rounded Moneyball's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Josef Sadil to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Moneyball was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimír Šebestík to maneuver through the defense. Alojz Remeš received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Damaso Llin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Burget hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. If Thiago Caniggia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Josef Sadil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damaso Llin having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karel Lev in the 80th minute of play forced Sportivo Desamparados's goalkeeper Damaso Llin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Karel Lev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damaso Llin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alojz Remeš in the 89th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Carolo Servando's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miroslav Kubálek was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Sportivo Desamparados's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Silvano Ugutz in the 94th minute. Alojz Remeš struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Damaso Llin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moneyball. Sportivo Desamparados's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
