After a rather tough play, Moneyball's Anatolij Dirda got a free kick in the 5th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Maximino Illan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arroyito FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximino Illan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miroslav Kubálek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Moneyball's goalkeeper Miroslav Kubálek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 15 minutes of play, Moneyball's Karel Lev made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacinto Medina was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Clodoveo Pirmin during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Clodoveo Pirmin kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Jacinto Medina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karel Lev, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Moneyball's goalkeeper Miroslav Kubálek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clodoveo Pirmin. In the 27th match minute, Arroyito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saverio Gaxan to maneuver through the defense. Jacinto Medina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Václav Abrahám in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Václav Abrahám in the 30th minute of play forced Arroyito FC's goalkeeper Jacinto Medina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacinto Medina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karel Lev, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Miroslav Kubálek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clodoveo Pirmin in the 34th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Arroyito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alojz Remeš came free, but Jacinto Medina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Moneyball fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Moneyball's Alojz Remeš looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 45 minutes of play, Moneyball's Karel Lev made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacinto Medina was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Moneyball were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Václav Abrahám made a kick off. After 51 minutes, Cornelio Gomez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arroyito FC and the Moneyball players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cornelio Gomez hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. The supporters of Arroyito FC booed when Moneyball was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Columbo Columbo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximino Illan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 54th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Václav Abrahám notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Arroyito FC's Jacinto Medina. Jacinto Medina was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luis Gil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miroslav Kubálek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Maximino Illan made a precise shot to the right of Miroslav Kubálek. Moneyball's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Václav Abrahám kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Moneyball defense, Maximino Illan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miroslav Kubálek. The Moneyball fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miroslav Kubálek should have stopped the shot. Moneyball's Miroslav Kubálek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clodoveo Pirmin in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes into the game, Václav Abrahám recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jacinto Medina. Václav Abrahám showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-5. Anatolij Dirda kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Luis Gil scored 3-5 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miroslav Kubálek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Arroyito FC's Jacinto Medina got control of the ball when Václav Abrahám tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 86th minute, Alojz Remeš hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karel Lev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacinto Medina read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Moneyball's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardino Ekaitz came free, but Miroslav Kubálek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacinto Medina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Václav Abrahám, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Arroyito FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Moneyball's performance. The match ended with a win for Moneyball.
