Arixo Aponte took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paul Himschoot. Paul Himschoot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. After having played for 76 minutes, Arixo Aponte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Marabino's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arixo Aponte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to FC Bredene getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Pierre Maerschalck hit a great ball. When Robbe Imbrechs fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Bredene's protests and gave Robbe Imbrechs a yellow card for diving instead. In the 86th match minute, FC Bredene was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robbe Imbrechs to maneuver through the defense. Paul Himschoot acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 87th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Arixo Aponte.
