Zé Paulo Cardozo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Roşu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in ROSÁRIO SPORT's zone, Aristide Martin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Paulo Cardozo came out of the goal and Aristide Martin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's goalkeeper Dorel Caciulescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dorel Caciulescu came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by ROSÁRIO SPORT's Ismael Seco. But to his dismay, Ismael Seco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When ROSÁRIO SPORT's Cipriano Nascimento in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's goalie prevented a goal. Aílton Neiva kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Mihai Macarie notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of ROSÁRIO SPORT's Zé Paulo Cardozo. Zé Paulo Cardozo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dorel Caciulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Dorel Caciulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Seco in the 44th minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, Fellipe Loyola was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ROSÁRIO SPORT's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt the free kick. After a rather tough play, ROSÁRIO SPORT's Fellipe Loyola got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 48th minute Ismael Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorel Caciulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half ROSÁRIO SPORT were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A collision led to FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Remus Stolniceanu hit a great ball. Dorel Caciulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dorel Caciulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Nascimento in the 57th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Marcel Roşu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In a very dangerous position, a player in ROSÁRIO SPORT fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! The supporters of ROSÁRIO SPORT booed when FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vintilă Lupulescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Ismael Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot. ROSÁRIO SPORT's supporters rose to their feet, but Ismael Seco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dorel Caciulescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ismael Seco got free with Dorel Caciulescu in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 81 played minutes FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Boeru. With a little luck, FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Dorel Caciulescu got control of the ball when Ismael Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dorel Caciulescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ismael Seco in the 89th minute. Marcel Roşu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Dorel Caciulescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt from getting a goal against them. Dorel Caciulescu made a fantastic save in the 99th minute, when Ismael Seco sent off a good shot on target.
