Dominguez Muniz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Evelio Eleazar in the 12thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mariano Echarriza, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 13 minutes into the match, Evelio Eleazar dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mariano Echarriza, 1-0. When Epifanio Bertol fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wolfwalkers F.C.'s protests and gave Epifanio Bertol a yellow card for diving instead. After 17 played minutes Wolfwalkers F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Epifanio Bertol. After a rather tough play, Real Unión CF's Dominguez Muniz got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 25th minute, Leizarraga Texidor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zosimo Villalaud in the 29th minute of play forced Wolfwalkers F.C.'s goalkeeper Delmar Oalo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 31 minutes, Leizarraga Texidor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Unión CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leizarraga Texidor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 31 minutes into the game, Real Unión CF's Zosimo Villalaud nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Delmar Oalo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 37 minutes into the match, Wolfwalkers F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Zosimo Villalaud came free, but Delmar Oalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evelio Eleazar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Mariano Echarriza skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Delmar Oalo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leizarraga Texidor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wolfwalkers F.C.'s Delmar Oalo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zosimo Villalaud in the 45th minute of play. Zosimo Villalaud scored 1-2 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Delmar Oalo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Real Unión CF were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After having played for 58 minutes, Leizarraga Texidor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 65th match minute, Real Unión CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zosimo Villalaud to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Eleazar in the 66th minute of play forced Real Unión CF's goalkeeper Mariano Echarriza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leizarraga Texidor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 88 minutes, Venerando Eguizabal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Unión CF and the Wolfwalkers F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Venerando Eguizabal kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Real Unión CF's Leizarraga Texidor ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Delmar Oalo. Delmar Oalo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Gaston Montrelle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Mariano Echarriza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Real Unión CF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
